About this Project

Palace Gourmet aims to be a new world-class food hall nestled exclusively in NY8 New Yaohan at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, representing the essence of luxury dining and shopping in a European-style food hall. Palace Gourmet seamlessly combines these experiences under one opulent roof. In my role, I undertake the responsibility of crafting a modest yet sophisticated design across disposable food packages, shopping bags, wine labels, billboards, and animation and introductory videos. This design aims to integrate subtle and elegant colors, refined typography, and tasteful animation, creating a humble yet elegant brand identity reflective of the warmth and inclusivity at the heart of Palace Gourmet, the European finest.

Featuring five tiers of membership, including Diamond, Titanium, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, each level has its own unique design and color scheme. The card is also integrated with a membership app, providing members with easy access to exclusive rewards and benefits. The app allows members to track their progress through the tiers, earn and redeem rewards, and stay up-to-date on the latest promotions and events. With this updated loyalty program, members can enjoy a seamless and personalized experience, both in-store and online.

About this Project

This UI/UX project is the second reiteration of the digital membership program and shopping App, in conjunction with the new visual identity and a new store for the New Yaohan Japanese Style Department at the ultra-luxury hotel complex in Macau. The brief from the senior management is to create an all-in-one app containing eCommerce, brick-and-mortar store promotions, eWallet, and VIP loyalty program eCard. Its sole purpose is to retain the customers online and offline with a great experience. Along with the successful 360,000 active members, this app populated another 20% of users in 2 months to 432,000. The projected ROI (return of investment) is up 50% year-over-year for the entire chain.
