About this Project
Elevating the essence of the Chinese New Year, I spearheaded a design project for the Year of the Pig red pocket and gift set that truly captures the festive spirit. The meticulous attention to detail included custom foil stamping and embossing techniques, enhancing the red pocket with a touch of luxury. The impeccable package design extended to both the red pocket and the accompanying lucky Chinese scroll, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and sophistication. This project aimed not only to celebrate the auspicious Year of the Pig but also to offer recipients a visually stunning and culturally resonant experience through thoughtful and beautifully crafted design elements.

About this Project
I led the UX design initiative for our digital lucky draw system, seamlessly integrating it with our digital reward program mobile app to bring a modern and efficient twist to the traditional approach. The primary goals were to heighten customer awareness of the event, incentivize new VIP member recruitment, and streamline the process with a simplified, digital entry system. By replacing the conventional redeem and ticket method, we successfully reduced the average entry time from 3 minutes to a swift 40 seconds per participant. This transformation not only engaged participants but also significantly enhanced operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all involved.

In Asia, Chinese New Year is one of the single most celebrated festivals of the year. For a retail business, it is the prime-time for spending new clothes, premium groceries, and houseware for your family as well as buying gifts of fortune for your friends and business partners.
To seize the golden opportunity and to entice customers to increase their spending, I managed to create a series of in-store decorations, window displays, an exclusive red pocket gift set for VIP members, and a supremely successful digital lucky draw promotion.
As a result, the overall sales have grown 15% year-over-year for the same period. The project was also featured on VMSD magazine with great reviews.
