About this Project

This project powerfully showcases my creative design and marketing expertise in the successful launch of an AI-powered health tracker app. I artfully crafted engaging website copy, transforming complex scientific concepts like epigenetics into clear, compelling narratives. My creative contributions spanned developing a persuasive pitch deck package, defining the core branding, executing intuitive web design and UI/UX design, and producing captivating animationsalongside concise product overviews.

On the marketing front, I conceived and implemented targeted Instagram and LinkedIn content, including visually cohesive branding grid posts specifically designed to capture and entice investor interest. This holistic creative strategy not only drove significant engagement but also established a powerful, memorable brand identity, directly contributing to the startup securing its initial international university funding.

The Epigenetics AI logo is designed for strong brand recognition, featuring a prominent, stylized “EA” star as its core symbol, accompanied by a robust wordmark. This distinctive logo is created to function both as a unified design and as separate, harmonious elements. The “EA” star can stand alone, providing flexibility across various applications, while the wordmark clearly identifies the brand. The logo effectively integrates functional references to the brand name, ensuring immediate association with Epigenetics AI, a VC-backed startup focused on AI-powered health tracking.

Pioneering a World Without Disease

At Epigenetics AI, our journey began not in a boardroom, but from a profound personal experience. Our founder, Avigail, a dedicated Machine Learning Specialist, spent years in lab research. Yet, it was the tragic and preventable loss of her best friend to leukemia in her early 30s that sparked a singular, powerful vision: what if advanced screening could be made accessible and affordable for everyone, preventing such heartbreak?

The site clearly articulates our brand story, highlighting the personal mission to make preventive health screening affordable and accessible for everyone via AI. Investors can easily grasp the power of our cloud-based platform, which uniquely focuses on Asian and Chinese cohort data for precision medicine. Furthermore, the website outlines our distinct competitive advantages across our product lines, including our AI-powered prognosis platform for healthcare providers and the crucial Epigenetics Bank. Our posts will foster curiosity about biological age and epigenetics, highlight the app’s ease of use, and include clear calls-to-action to encourage discovery and interaction. Our UI design delivers a futuristic yet incredibly user-friendly experience, meticulously crafted through competitor research, in-depth UX analysis, persona development, user journey mapping, and ideation. We’ve leveraged cutting-edge AI and Photoshop enhancements to create a distinct visual appeal.

The focus is on effortless user engagement, from a seamless onboarding process to the intuitive ability to scan or import recent blood test reports. Users can easily locate blood test input dates, and our biomarker dashboard is designed with a big, easy-to-read display, ensuring critical health insights are clear and accessible.

This project is to establish a visual identity for Aspirio Piano Academy. The owner of the academy, Dr. Amanda Lee-Hing, is a piano professor at Assemblies of God University (SAGU), who is an active solo and collaborative pianist, clinician, as well as adjudicator for numerous festivals and competitions.  

The final result of the logo design is very satisfying for Dr. Lee-Hing with strong brand recognition for her studio business and communication materials.

About this Project


 

I led the UX design initiative for our digital lucky draw system, seamlessly integrating it with our digital reward program mobile app to bring a modern and efficient twist to the traditional approach. The primary goals were to heighten customer awareness of the event, incentivize new VIP member recruitment, and streamline the process with a simplified, digital entry system. By replacing the conventional redeem and ticket method, we successfully reduced the average entry time from 3 minutes to a swift 40 seconds per participant. This transformation not only engaged participants but also significantly enhanced operational efficiency, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all involved.

Corporate website development is an important part of today’s business world. Revamping and the aging website is a big challenge yet and enjoyable process. I have divided it into a two-phase program for the corporate site for marketing and the digital loyalty program portal.

Our audiences are both the consumers and our potential tenants from around the world. Therefore, I had to design a framework where it’s combined with the right internet marketing strategy such as mobile-friendly, SEO, email, and social media. Therefore, WordPress was the choice which the site built upon for its future-proofing and easy to upgrade characteristics.

After the wireframe and sitemap were approved, I had worked with our web developer for the prototype right away. The content creation and layout design with the marketing team were also deeply involved.

The next phase was the digital membership portal. It was built upon New Yaohan’s successful analog foundation and I was responsible for the UI/UX product design. I had designed it as easy to register and use it as possible with the capability for reward point accumulation and checking instantaneously. Our team has also conducted countless times of user acceptance tests and refinements with the developer.

The result for this consequential development was very well received by our customers, loyalty members, and business partners and it also has undergone many upgrades and refinements over time.
